Parma Violets?

Hello,
I can't seem to find Parma Violets anywhere. Does anyone know of a good place to look?
I've tried Canyon Creek in California but could not get an answer.
Thank you,
Shawn

RE: Parma Violets?

Hi Shawn,

Unfortunately, Canyon Creek has stopped selling -- at least temporarily. Although an excellent source of violets is unavailable, there are a few nurseries selling Parma violets today. You can try Select Seeds for 'Conte di Brazza' (also called 'Comte de Brazza', 'Swanley White', or more recently, I believe, 'Alba Plena') or 'Duchesse de Parme'; from Logee's, you can obtain 'Marie Louise'. There are other sources as well, but these are two I'm personally familiar with and have received good, healthy plants from. Unfortunately both are currently out of stock, but you should keep checking, especially during the late winter-early spring ordering season when stocks of violets for sale are normally higher.

Stefan
