Is there any chance of growing violets in the Tampa, FL area? I moved here several years ago from Louisiana and previously Minnesota. I brought some much loved violets (don't know the names) with me - lavender, white and some yellow native ones found in LA. They have all gradually died, even though I planted them in the shade. I have mostly given up but found this forum and am wondering if there is any hope left. Thanks for any help you can provide.
