I've been assuming that this was crabgrass or other weedy grass and was able to control it last year by pulling it. However, over the mild winter we've had this grass has infested my yard. I have a bermudagrass lawn, so it stands out pretty well. I've tried crabgrass killer and that doesn't kill it. After looking at pictures of crabgrass, I realized that's not what this is. It actually looks like some type of desirable "bunch grass" used in lawns. The areaas that have been taken over by it form a pretty soft, thick turf.
