Currently have two weed problems spreading across my yard.

1) Yellow flowered weed (see attached picture). The plant has spread all over the lawn.

2) A grass like weed. (picture of this attached as well)

Would appreciate any help in identifying the type of weeds they are and also what I may use to fix the problem.

Can't seem to submit a picture of the second weed. The first weed is the main problem.

Maybe Senecio vulgaris, common groundsel??? If so, pretty early for bloom although it is a spring bloomer. Can be tough to control as it has developed resistance to many products. Contact your local extension service for the right treatment.

Groundsel will flower all year round in milder climates. It flowers all through the winter here whenever there is a mild spell. Just pull it out whenever you see it.
