What works better than Trimec this time of year

Chickweed is up and going strong in North Georgia already. Trimec works better above 70 degrees but we are not there yet. What works on lawns to get rid of chickweed with temps in the lower 60's mainly. Needs to work quick also as rains will come every couple days it looks like.

This is a fairly expensive broad leaf "weed killer containing 2,4,D, Dicambra, and one other or about the same stuff as many much less expensive poisons. Chickweed is easily removed from a lawn by pulling so spraying a poison around is not necessary.
