Best commercial grade weed barrier?

Hi. I'd sure appreciate any recommendations for a good commercial, heavy duty grade weed barrier/fabric. I'm starting with an old sod bound former garden (not in use for over 20 years) and would like to cover about 100 by 100 feet. I only want to use it for one or two years, without covering it with other mulching materials and plant sparsely the first year. I'm not too smitten with poly black plastic tarp because it doesn't breath or let rain into the soil. This is, I think, too large an area for the cardboard-newspaper, or other, mulching techniques. Most weed barriers are 3 x 50, and I'd sure like something wider. The owner of the land won't permit Roundup. etc. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

The cheapest, and most effective, weed barrier you can get is old newspaper. A good landscape supplies retail shop will have good, woven landscape fabric in sizes up to 6 feet wide, but that is expensive, because it is a very good quailty product meant to last and be effective for years.
