| hi! we've had this vine growing up our shed for years. i've avoided it because it has 3 leaves (new growth is reddish), and the hairy vine. i've been told it's poison ivy, but i'd like a positive id. we had a friend pull it down a few years ago, and he didn't get the itchies, but he has since moved away. we bought the round-up poison ivy killer, but it didn't kill this thing.
thanks!

| Yes, poison ivy. Brush killer should take care of it. But multiple applications will most likely be needed. See those little hairs on the stem? Dead giveaway. The dead bark, I believe, can still give you a rash, even after it's been dead for a couple of years. |

| thank you for responding! i was afraid that the "diagnosis" would be confirmed... i will keep applying and reapplying the poison ivy killer till this monster is dead! thanks again! |
