It Looks Like Purple Baby's Breath-Please ID

This is a lawn weed that has popped up for the first time this year. I noticed patches of it on my neighbor's lawn last spring. We only have a small amount. Can anyone help ID and give me some advice on getting rid of it? It has white flowers and purple stems. It grows in clumps. Ignore the other weeds! Thanks.
