help with weed/vine ID

I live outside portland OR on some acreage. last year, this plant appeared on some of my property, and now it is coming everywhere. It's very sticky and viney and it creeps and clims on about everything.

Any ideas what it is and strategies to control it?

Catchweed, the botanical genus name Galium.

They're annuals that profusely re-seed. Easy to pull out.

Hints:
1. Easy to remove while they're young
2. More will come because the the "soil seed bank" -- on other words, unsprouted seeds from previous years will germinate & grow on the own schedule.
