Ever since I can remember I've been struggling with a thorny vine that is taking over both my front and back yards. It has dark blue fruit and fern-like leaves. As I kid I would spend afternoons hacking at it in hopes that one day I can get rid of it. I had no permanent success but now I want to start anew.

But maybe if I know what the heck it is, I'd be able to understand how it reproduces and therefore be able to come up with a more refined strategy.
