| My in laws have a huge patch of this growing behing their house and I am severly allergic to poison ivy , is this the real thing? Also how should they go about removing it? Thanks for any info!!

| Both are quite variable in leaf shape. Hortus III defines them with the same botanical name, Rhus radicans and or R. toxicodendron. Anyway, for sure #2 is poison ivy. |
