4 weeds needing ID

Background: I live in Northern Alabama. I have hybrid and common bermuda. I apologize if these have been identified by previous posters - i haven't had a chance to look at everything yet.

Weed 1: Leaves approx. 2 inches long

Weed 2: roughly 6 inches wide. No matter how many times I pull these things, they come back.

Weed 3: this is approx 4 inches wide and 4 inches tall, but I have some that are over 1 foot (I think I know what this one is, but I want to confirm)

Weed 4: (2 pictures) these are about 3 inches tall. They are very hard to pull out of the ground and have a single tap root.

#3 resembles marestail
#4 is alfalfa.

# 2 looks like giant ragweed except you stated it comes back. Is it coming back from the roots or is the stem breaking and new shoots coming from break area?

maifleur - when I pick them, i get part of the stem that goes underground - but not sure there's ever a real "root" that comes up with it. If i'm not getting the root, it must be pretty far down.

Common ragweed is a personal enemy of mine - maybe I need to go nuclear on its cousin too :(

Thank you beeone, I have been trying to figure out what that marestail weed was for 4 days now! I have looked at so many pictures of so many weeds in the past few days I thought I was imagining the dang thing! Mine aren't as small as the OP though mine are about 4ft tall lol
