| I posted this in herbs, but usually I have good luck in the weed forum when in need of plant identification.

| Which makes both of them as herbs. The second picture is of a two year old French sorrel sending up a seed head. If you do not want the sorrel all over put the seedhead in a plastic bag and carefully cut the seed head off. |
