What is this weed?

I have been trying to find this out for a long time. Can you offer a positive ID? This isn't mugwort or carolina geranium, but is similar to mugwort leaves. These are not hairy. Also the flowers are very different.

Many of the leaves are deeply serrated. Woody stems, low spreading, easily rooting habit. Coral to pink buds/ small, simple flowers.

Really annoying. Loves to be mowed. Loves doggie business.

I think this is something of Malvaceae, not cranesbill.
Please post or send by email close up pictures of flowers, fruits and calyx (calyx view from the side opposite to the flower is needed too).

Tyrlych, I thought of Malva, too, looking at the flower head, then the the leaves made me think of Cranesbill...but you are correct...after a little search I found this...

Well, if it isn't precisely modiola caroliniana, it's darn close! That is just like it. The funny thing is now I realize we have the cranesbill in the yard, since I have seen images for it! but it's not nearly as annoyiing as the mallow! Years ago, I thought this might be a kind of mallow, but there are so many kinds I could never pinpoint it!

Thanks everyone!
