Clover Weeds

We have experienced a huge outbreak in clover weeds this year in our front and particularly backyard. Our front yard is Centipede grass while the backyard is Bermuda grass (that the bldr put) and we have since added a ton of Centipede sod over the past five years. The weed killers that I have found that are for clover say not to use it on either type of grass. How come? How do we get rid of it if we can't use it on our grasses? Thanks.

RE: Clover Weeds

Look at it this way....clovers in the lawn...feed the lawn. Clovers are nitrogen fixers. It once upon a time widely accepted in lawns (sometimes still is)for that very reason.

Here is a link that might be useful: Clover Lawns
