weed? or?

Hi,

I have some of these coming up in my yard and hope they're not a weed. Please help me identify. Thanks

A "weed" is a plant that you do not want growing where you do not want it growing. So if that is not something you want and it is growing where you do not want it growing it is a "weed". It looks kind of like it might be a member of that very large Daisy family.

Not a snapdragon. When it flowers repost. At the moment it could be several things.

Thank you for the responses. We are new to the home and going through our 1st spring. I am hoping to remove all true weeds and then worry about what I like, where it is growing, etc.

My 1st post showed I had possibly some hoary cress which I quickly removed and wanted to catch this one early if it was truly a weed and not an intended planting.

I will post a follow up when it blooms for confirmation.

We really appreciate the help.
