| So often I've pulled up the last year's perennials that I'm letting things come up this year.
These four plants in front of the hostas are suspect. (From left, 2 and 4 are the same plant. There are lots of them, only in my perennial beds.) Can anyone identify them, or at least tell me if I should pull or coddle them? Especially 2 & 4, since they're rampant.

| 1 and 3 look like a weed to me......it's tough to tell from a photo. |

| Some of them look like some kind of Dock. Perhaps broad leaf dock or curly dock. You can look at curly dock at: http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/R/W-PY-RCRI-MP.003.html |
Here is a link that might be useful: Broad Leaf Dock

| 2 and 4 are some type of aster. The one that bob64 thinks is dock I believe is a plant that has a flower? that looks like a shaving brush. Sorry no name. |
