Is this a giant weed?

These things are huge and have thick stalks. Anyone know?

Pokeweed - Phytolacca americana imo.

The leaf edges are very wavy for this to be Phytolacca. Sorry I don't have a suggestion to add though.

It looks sick to me. The leaves are distorted, as purple says, and also have yellow discoloration. But I'd still go with Pokeweed.

This is one of several already-taller-than-me pokeweeds at our camp site this past weekend. I thought Flora might enjoy seeing it as much as I did. This plant must be several years old, and native plants are left unmolested in the state park which is also a nature preserve. The shape of the leaves and the wavy edges of the plant posted originally above still look different to me, but I wouldn't want to bet a large sum either way. Maybe you could add another pic of your plant if you're still undecided on its' ID.
