Carrot-looking thing...weed or no weed? Pic inside

Not sure if I should rip this up or not. The area was originally planted with a Walmart "Cottage Garden" box mix. Weed or not? Thanks.

Yeah, it's QAL alright. I bought this by accident too, somehow somewhere. Its very pretty when in bloom but will get everywhere. It ended up all over my lawn and it is tough to pull because of the taproot and will keep coming back. It laughed at Round-Up.

I have read that it can cross pollinate with carrots, so I guess you have to be careful if you grow an heirloom garden.
