Weed?or Plant?

I have a very small flower bed (more like dirt hill) around my light pole. there is not much drainage so nothing seems to grow here I do have a few begonia that have managed to not die yet, but then this grassy looking thing sprouted up so thinking it was a weed I pulled it. Now I am not sure what it is and there is no others in my yard or anywhere to my knowlege. Any Ideas?
