What is this plant?!

Just having moved to an older home with many established plants (sadly neglegted)I have been trying to weed through what is here. I have come across this plant that looks suspiciously like marijuana. I have pulled everthing out once, but it keeps coming back! It has viney roots that are spread troughout this bed. Can you Help?

From both the description and the picture, I'm thinking Queen-of-the-prairie, Filipendula rubra. DH has pointed out to visitors more than once that my queen looks like "weed". - kim

Thank-you. You're right, I found some pictures online and it does look like Queen-of-the-praire.

you might also want to check your plant against sulfur cinquefoil. The leaves look similar. I have that, no matter what I do to yank it out it seems to return.
