Plant identification

I need help identifying this plant. It's about to take over.

I think I found it - the best match I could find is acacia berlandieri, common name guajillo tree. I've linked one page about it, but do a search and see what you think.

Compare your plant to Prairie Mimosa, Desmanthus illinoensis.
