| I was out weeding this morning and ran across this ??? At first, I thought it was a mushroom, then poop. :) It is neither. It was "rooted" in the ground (maybe not real roots, but attached) yet pulled easily out of the ground, and is very light and almost feels fragile, like paper mache. Just curious as to what it might be. Sorry the photo is not more clear...took on my cell phone. |

| What grew in that spot last year? To me it seems like something from the crucifer family, perhaps an old turnip or flowering kale. |

| It looks like an owl pellet to me. Not saying that that is what it is....just what it looks like. |
