| Not bahia, purple. Attached is a link to the seed head of that grass. I don't know what this grass is , though. I'd need to see more of the plant and maybe some actually in the ground. |

| Yeah. That's what's all over my yard, about half of the grass is that. Looks the same to me but if you see a difference, I believe you. I thought the little black things (the seeds I've always assumed) had already fallen off of the pictured plant. Do the 2 "seed holder" parts always make a "V?" I've broken 2 pairs of scissors on this stuff this year. |

| Yes, the seed heads are always two-pronged. If gardendummie sent us a picture of a broken plant, he can't expect an accurate ID, can he? :-) |
