Can anyone tell me what type of plant this is. Usually grows about 12" tall. Has a light pink "flower" at the top.

This is smartweed, Polygonum sp., most likely P.persicaria.

Thank you so much. It keeps growing around my hibiscus and I am trying to get rid of it. Apparently it is "smarter" than I am. I keep pulling it up and it keeps coming back.
