Help me ID This Plant - Probably a Weed

Posted by cindysunshine 5b (My Page) on

I have been cultivating this plant for months in my front borders where it is growing rather purposefully along the front walk. I was thinking it was maybe a feverfew or something but now it is about 3' tall and the flowers emerged from tiny buds with just a few yellow petals that never seem to develop further from the 2nd photo.

I'm in central Illinois.

What is this thing? It probably is time to yank it out. ;)
