What is this gigantic plant?

These plants are about 2-6 ft. tall and now have buds about to open. I have no idea what they are but I have a lot of them. I think it is a weed because it is growing so fast. I have searched many weed id websites and been keeping an eye out along the roadsides but can't seem to figure out what it is. Any ideas?

Pilewort, I believe--Erechtites hieracifolia.

That's it. Thanks for the quick id. Luckily, I was able to pull them out. The roots are shallow and it had just rained.
