This insidious weed is the bane of my existence. I just had my whole perennial bed replanted to get rid of this (I'm a novice gardener), but it keeps popping up. It loves to entwine itself with other plants' roots (especially bulbs) and crops up wherever there's empty space in the bed. It's even starting to pop up on the lawn. The roots are long and wrong horizontally, and are often attached to a tuber-type root. The stems are a little reddish. Can anyone ID this and tell me how to get rid of it? Thanks in advance.
