sort of heart shaped leaf w/5 rounded edges around the outside. leaves seem to be accross from each other(I think hard to see). very small white to almose very pale lavender bloom. their is a round flat disc shaped "pod" for lack of better word. Seems to be the seeds. grows low to the ground and has runners and each place it touches it seems to grow roots. the leaves are quarter to half dollar size. It was in a couple of spots last year. Now it is in alot of spots through out the lawn. Is this a weed or a flower of some sort. Birds bring it in? I didn't plant it.

Is there a way to get rid of it? oops,forgot to say I'm in missouri.

    Oh, by the way a nice person told me it was mallow.
