What is the best post and pre emergent herbicide

Have been using hyrotol for the last year but am looking for a a pre and post emergent herbicide that can keep my patio and pavement weed and grass free for longer than one season (3 months) . Is there one that can do so for 6-12 months. I've heard Prova is good does that last for a year

Help... I've been treating the dozens of trumpet vine spouts that come up all over my yard as though they were weeds... It seems to be harming the mother vine ....and now I'm being sued for maliciously harming her plant. It's true, I'm using "remedy" which is a strong herbicide...and I apply it a few inches down into the soil..I try to confine the herbicide to the trumpet vine root by using plastic baggies... HELP! What do you all think?

Maby, if you are being sued, you need to stop talking on any publc forum about what you've been using and get yourself a lawyer.
