Anyone got any ideas on how to control this nasty invasive weed? Tried "weed-b-gone"...nothing, except killing my grass, too. Added a little sticker oil, worked a little better, but hate to lose the grass. Roundup seems to work, but again, the grass goes as well. I seem to have the Floratam variety of St. Augustine......the variety that everything kills. I'm at a loss other than going around pulling it from the ground.
Guess this is becoming a two-part question. Is there a way I can tell, without getting too scientific, which variety of St. Augustine I have? I hate to keep trying the different weed killers listed as "safe for St Augustine" only to find that my St Augustine isn't all that "safe". Guess that's one way to tell.
