Help to ID weed?

Any help to identify this weed is appreciated! It grows in circular patches and spreads out in the yard in the circular patches. In addition, it lies low to the ground and is extremely hard to pull out. It has little white hairs on the leaves. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

If your soil were richer and more moist, it would probably die ;)

RE: Help to ID weed?

I believe this is Pilosella officinarum - Mouse-ear Hawkweed.

Hmm, floral_uk may be right....after I googled images.

Does it flower yellow or weird whitish flowers?

RE: Help to ID weed?

Yellow dandelion-like flowers.

Here is a link that might be useful: Pilosella officinarum
