It's a heliotrope, and I think this is the species for Uruguay...it's a garden escape.

And yes...Name that plant is where you want to be.

Heliotrope to start, then to Wiki,
started the other var., then more pics, and then
I decided that Heliotropium curassavicum aka
salt or alkali heliotrope matches mine a lot closer.
This has only had me wondering for five years.
