I don't want to put Roundup on my garden this fall or spring, but those dadgum pigweed (wild amaranth, redroot reed) plants grow SO fast and can get out of control so quickly, then they're over your head before you know it -

I know there are tens of thousands of seeds in the ground just waiting to come up. We have mulch in the aisleways, but it comes up all over the place and grows faster than the garden plants, so I would appreciate any tips for getting RID of this stuff - and don't say, just weed more - I need something HIGH POWERED that is proven - I work full-time and can't spend 24x7 in the garden - I have thought about hiring men from the homeless shelter for the job....seriously - they get a little spending money, etc. and their case workers appreciate that they have a little job....
