wild morning glory vine and sticktights

How to irradicate sticktights and morning glories. I have been pulling but they grew in an area hard for me to get to due to my knee surgeries and it is on slow incline. Right now I can't find where the morning glory started because I had allergies and was unable to be out when it took over and boy are they growing everywhere. Is that my only solution is to pull,pull,pull

Wild Morning Glory, "Convolvulus" spreads by root and seed so the best control starts with doing what you can to remove any and all root. There is some indication that none of the "weed" killers out there will actualy kill this plants root.
I have found that sticktights grow best in soils with very low levels of organic matter so increasing the amount of organic matter can help stop them from growing.
