mini weed wrench

I'm thinking about purchasing a weed wrench to remove mainly buckthorn and honeysuckle saplings. Mainly it will be used for ones that are less than 1" in diameter. The "mini" version of the weed wrench looks to be good enough for what I need, but the short handle concerns me. Anyone have experience with this?

No, no experience, but since I've never heard of this gizmo, I looked at it online. It's cool. I also noticed that some guy rented his, so maybe you can do the same and save some bucks. Maureen
