Pre-emergent to Remove Chamberbitter from Perennials

I have an infestastion of chamberbitter (Phyllanthus urinaria, aka, Mimosa Weed) in my lawn and amond my perennials. I have decided to "kill off" my lawn to reseed with a single type of grass (I currently have a patchword of 3 or 4 different types), and I know the glyphosate will kill the chamberbitter in the lawn. However, I also have that same weed in my perennial and annual flower beds, and I know that any weeds I don't get in the flower beds will just spread the seeds back into the lawn (and I'll be right back where I started). Is there a pre-emergent that I can spray among my perennials to attack this VERY prolific weed? HELP!
