You might try posting in the herb forum. It looks a little like horhound but I think it get taller than your pictures. If it its horhound it likes your garden. I can not get it to live.

I believe you are correct with the horehound identification. It seems to be considered a noxious weed in Australia. I am in the process of slowly pulling it all out. It appears to prefer poor, dry soil, which we have plenty of here in Colorado. I will gladly send you a box. Could include a couple of pesky, 'cute' prairie dogs as well for your amusement.

Watch the amount you use can cause intestinal problems. You might want to go to a drug store and look in the cough drops. Most will have horehound drops either there or in the candy isle.

I would love a couple of prairie dogs however they have a tendency to become more than just a "couple".
