Friendly neighboorhood Spider....

I'm not sure what kind of spider this is, but she sure did keep the bugs off my roses last summer!

RE: Friendly neighboorhood Spider....

Looks like a Six-spotted Orb Weaver, but I can't see if it has the spots or not from that angle. The body fits though. The book I use to ID them is The Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Insects & Spiders.
