Name that bird! PLEASE!

Hello All!

Well Spring must be here as I'm back out in the gardens with my camera. These birds arrived in the middle of wonter and have just taken up home in our yard... can anyone identify them for me? They are the size of a small English Sparrow, but very black/white/grey...
As always, thanks for the input!
Kindest Regards,
Mekales

RE: Name that bird! PLEASE!

mekales,

Looks like a black-capped chickadee (one of my favorite birds). I enjoy listening to them too. Their name is based on the chickadee sound they make, and I like hearing their "fee-bay" territory sound, probably because I like the bird so much. Here's a link for you to take a look to help you decide.
