I live in Southern California and have a semi tropical garden going for the past few years. I think I have been attracting Stick Bugs! As I have seen them in all sizes and colors, or maybe they change colors based on the plant they are on for defense! Anyway just wanted to share with you the snap shot of my recent find!

I live in SoCal but near the beach. I would be impressed to see those bugs. I grow plumeria, palms and orchids, gardenias so I guess thats semi tropical. How do you upload an image link. are there directions somewhere? I cannot figure it out.

Marge, Type "How to post pictures" (without the quotes) in the search box at the top of the page. There will be a number of different ways given to post pictures. I use the Photobucket way. Hope this helps.

I too live near the Beach in San Clemente - I usually find them when I am out in the garden thinning it out. Last week I brought in some cuttings and sometime later in the week a stick bug was crawling on my floor. Guess he was on one of the branches that I clipped - they are hard to see - well camoflauged. david
