Is this rabbit scat?

| Some sort of critter has been visiting my garden. I've seen a few leaves nibbled at ground level, but not a lot of damage (knock wood!) We've found a few piles of scat and once some hair. The pellets are about 1/4" x 1/3". They don't look exactly like rabbit scat based on other photos I've seen, but I don't know what else they could be. The hair looks very soft, and is about an inch long. Any thoughts?

| Hair is definately rabbit but monitor not good enough for the scat picture. If small round pellets yes it is rabbit do. Makes for wonderful fertilizer. |

| Not round, more like little footballs with rounded ends. So maybe we had more visitors than just a rabbit. |
