Is this rabbit scat?

Some sort of critter has been visiting my garden. I've seen a few leaves nibbled at ground level, but not a lot of damage (knock wood!) We've found a few piles of scat and once some hair. The pellets are about 1/4" x 1/3". They don't look exactly like rabbit scat based on other photos I've seen, but I don't know what else they could be. The hair looks very soft, and is about an inch long. Any thoughts?

Hair is definately rabbit but monitor not good enough for the scat picture. If small round pellets yes it is rabbit do. Makes for wonderful fertilizer.

Not round, more like little footballs with rounded ends. So maybe we had more visitors than just a rabbit.
