I was napping with the baby when I heard a thumping overhead, coming from the attic of my old farmhouse. Two hours of thumping later, we started to hear a strange cawing sound, as in something had a litter of little somethings in the eaves.

The list of suspects includes squirrel and raccoon. A couple hours before this racket started, I noticed a raccoon in the front yard in broad daylight, and it climbed into a tree next to the house.

Does anyone have any suggestions for evicting these critters?

In the meantime, I hope to set up lots of plant exchanges next month with other wildlife / native gardeners. Check out my trade list.
