| Hi, all. New to the forum here. In an attempt to familiarize myself with all of the wildlife in my new Florida yard, I too a pic of this new purple flower that I just noticed. About the size of a Hibiscus bloom. Any ideas? |

| DayByDay, It looks like it could be one of the shrubs in the Tibouchina genus, (Princess or Glory Flowers). If so, it is native to Brazil and not to Florida although I have not heard of any problems with this introduction... Mike |
