Yes, I think they are. I have seen them a couple times back in Michigan. Where did you see them?

10ft from my patio, lol! Their always digging in the back by my mulch bed...1st time they got this cose. Back of the mulch bed is just over 100' away.

Oh wow whass........what a great shot!
They never seem to land around here (central Indiana), but they fly over every spring and fall. They stop over in northern Indiana by the thousands in October.
How cool for you that they stopped by your house!

Beautiful pic of the Sandhill Cranes! They nest around here, but I've never gotten that good of a pic.
