I have an ongoing battle on the east side of my trailer between a colony of yellow jackets and a colony of big black/maroon wasps. Anybody ever seen this? It's been going on since autumn, and the fights get pretty nasty between the 2 species, flying at each other, stinging each other. (A good idea to keep away from that side of the house when the fight is going on -- they're pretty mad.)

They've both apparantly fighting over the rights to colonize inside the roof vents of my trailer, so frankly, I don't want either of them. As little as I like insecticides, I've sprayed the roof vents 3 times now, but it's only a temporary fix. They're back again --were back today.

Anybody ever seen this sort of behavior?
