Having Fun with Nature site

We have a small farm in Texas, and are converting it to a wildlife haven. My husband, who is computer literate, has built a website showing what we are doing. We also have tips on gardening, growing and using culinary herbs, and bits about our bees and chickens. I loved your website and the photos were beautiful!
I also have a dip and carry 55 gal plastic rainbarrel and use the mosquito donuts. A word of caution though: After researching rainbarrels on the web, I found that some roofing materials have chemicals in them so the run-off shouldn't be used on a vegetable garden.
That doesn't matter to me, as I have way more flowers gardens and pots than vegs anyway.

I agree about roofing chemicals. Fortunately, our barn has a metal roof, and is near the vegetable garden (when we get the barn fixed up we'll have photos!) and we use the rainwater run off from that.
