will sluggo/coffee kill things that eat dead slugs?

Hi,

Does anyone know -- I'm interested in trying iron phosphate and/or coffee to save hostas & dahlias from slugs but I'm wondering if I use these things to kill slugs and something else (e.g. a toad -- I saw one toad in my garden last summer & I would very much like to keep it) eats the dead slugs, will the predator be hurt?

Hi ALICE,
put crushed eggshells around your plants and the slugs will disappear..(same with snails). They do not move over the shells because the rough shells will hurt their smooth body..
Always worked for me.. :)
