Can anyone tell me anything about the birdhouse needs of mockingbird, bluejay, and rock doves?

I've never known these birds to USE a birdhouse. Do they?

Not sure about the first two - cannot find anything on the web about them yet. The rockdoves need a cone?? I have no idea yet how to make that but more online looking for me on that one too...

I don't think any are cavity nesters. I have seen dove nests low in spruce trees. Not all species use a box. You may want to look at the birdhouse network site. I believe it is Cornell. I think every cavity nester and the needs would be listed there.

None of them use a birdhouse. Pigeons can use some kind of box, but this is not a regular birdhouse with entrance hole - just box with one side fully open.
