Flying squirrels in the attic

jeanner

We haven't had them for several years but I think they are back .... and I'm pretty sure I finally know how they are getting in. But this is the first time they I've ever heard them in the attic in the spring and I am concerned they might be nesting there.

The problem is that we have cathedral ceilings and so I can't exactly go up in the attic and look for them or a nest.

I'm concerned about closing up their entry hole while they are in the attic or blocking the parents from their nest.

Anybody know when the breeding season would be in SW Ohio?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
